Q. What should I do if get injured while on the job?
A. If you experience any type of injury while on the job, it is extremely important to report that incident to your line leader or supervisor immediately! If you need medical assistance, call Ace Industry and we will direct you to the nearest contracted medical facility. It is important to remember to not leave the facility until they have performed a drug screen. Workman’s Compensation will not pay for medical services when a drug screen was not performed at the time of service.
Q. What should I do if I need to call off of work?
A. If you can’t report to work because of illness or emergency, you must call the Ace Office in Dadeville and add your name to the day’s “Not Working” list. When you call, please remember to include your name, the plant you work in, the shift you work, your supervisor’s name, your current phone number (in case we need to reach you), and your reason for not being at work.
Q. How do I change the tax withholding or other information on my paycheck, such as my address?
A. If you want to change your tax withholding information, your address, phone number, or any other important data, please come to the Ace Industry Office to fill out new forms or request the proper forms from your on-site supervisor.
Q. What do I need to know if I’m picking up my check from the Ace Industry office?
A. If you are picking up a check yourself (e.g. if you’ve been released, are between assignments, or just not working that day), simply come to the Ace office on Friday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Please remember to bring a legal photo ID.
Q. Is it possible to have someone pick up my paycheck for me?
A. If you need someone to pick up checks for you, call the Ace office in Dadeville and simply give us notification, along with the name of the person who will be picking up the check(s). Please remind that person to bring a drivers license or proper ID for identification and verification purposes. Or, you may send a handwritten not, including the name of the person you are giving permission to pick up your check and they must present with a photo ID.
Q. How do I get new or replacement t-shirts, safety glasses, or scratch covers?
A. If you need a new t-shirt, etc., simply come by the Ace Industry Office and fill out a short deduction form and receive your item(s). The cost will be deducted from your next week’s pay.
Q. How often do I need to update my application?
A. Applications must be updated every six (6) months so that we can record any new skills, experience or contact information you may have acquired.
Q. How often should I contact you to add myself to the call list?
A. Each time you are seeking employment, please contact our office or call our Call List and leave your name, current telephone number and shift perference so that we may contact you for our next interview. You will only need to call one (1) per week in which you are looking for work.
Q. When I have finished an assignment, do I need to resubmit an application?
A. No. When you are between jobs, you don’t need to reapply but you should remember to phone the Dadeville office and add yourself to the call list.
Q. How frequently do I get paid?
A. Pay is distributed weekly on Fridays in the breakroom at your assigned plant. If you are absent or have finished your assignment, you may come to the Ace Industry Office on Friday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm and pick up your check.
Q. How do I get my checks if I am out of work or between assignments?
A. You can pick up your paycheck every Friday at the Ace office in Dadeville between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Q. Once I’ve been accepted to work as an Ace Industry employee, how do I get called in for interview to be placed at a plant?
A. We ask that you call our Call List once time each week. We then select potential interview prospects from the Call List.
Q. What level of education do you require for applicants?
A. There is no minimum education requirement to apply to work with Ace Industry Co.
Q. Are there any physical requirements for applicants?
A. Those applying must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift at least 10 pounds.
Q. What type of experience do you prefer applicants to have?
A. No previous experience is necessary; however we do prefer those who have manufacturing experience in the automotive industry. In addition, forklift experience, quality control experience, and maintenance experience are all highly sought-after.
Q. What shifts do you hire for?
A. The plants we work with operate several different shifts. We look for employees available to work day shift, night shift and/or swing shift (a two week rotation between day and night shift).
Q. How do I apply to work with Ace Industry Co.?
A. We accept applications in our Dadeville office Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please allow adequate time to fill out your application completely or (click here) to complete a brief online application and you can complete the full application once we call you in for an interview.
